LONDON, Ohio -- The Cleveland-based Ohio-Israel Agricultural Initiative of The Negev Foundation is sponsoring an Israel Agriculture Booth at Ohio State University’s Farm Science Review Agricultural Tradeshow, September 22-24, 2009.  Israel is a world leader in agricultural technology and the only foreign country to have a booth at the exposition.  The Farm Science Review is the largest exposition of agricultural technology in the Midwest featuring over 600 exhibitors of agricultural equipment, supplies, and machinery.  About 130,000 people are expected to attend the event which takes place at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center in London, Ohio.

The Israel Agriculture Booth, located in booth #10 of the Association Building on lot 577 on the corner of Silage St. and Soybean Ave., will present the latest in Israeli agricultural innovations, technology, and equipment in dairy, poultry, aquaculture, horticulture, greenhouse, scales, feeders, filtration, irrigation systems, valves and meters, plastics for agriculture use, automation and controllers, and more.  Over twenty Israeli companies will be presented at the booth.  Visitors will be invited to sample Ohio’s Almondina cookies which have been exported to Israel.  Printed materials about agritourism to the Holy Land and Israel’s agriculture will be featured at the booth.

Visitors to the Israel Agriculture Booth will have the opportunity to learn about the January 13-14, 2010 Ohio Agribusiness Booth at AgroMashov Tradeshow in Israel, sponsored by the Ohio-Israel Agricultural Initiative of The Negev Foundation and supported by the Ohio Department of Agriculture.

The Ohio-Israel Agricultural Initiative of The Negev Foundation is dedicated to improving agricultural trade and R&D ties between Ohio and Israel by working with government, academic, and business entities and growers in both regions.  The objective of this Initiative is to foster greater collaboration between Ohio and Israeli government and research institutions, farmers, and companies; develop joint R&D and educational activities; identify agribusiness ventures based on new technologies; introduce potential investors; and expand commercial ties and market access in both regions.
