Farm Science Review Photo Contest

The Farm Science Review wants your personal photographs from exhibits and events at the Review for its “50 Years in 50 Words” photo contest. In addition to a photograph, entrants are required to include a description, no more than 50 words, about how to Farm Science Review has impacted their farm and/or their family.

The Farm Science Review wants your personal photographs from exhibits and events at the Review for its “50 Years in 50 Words” photo contest. In addition to a photograph, entrants are required to include a description, no more than 50 words, about how to Farm Science Review has impacted their farm and/or their family.

Participants can vote to select their top three favorite photographs through August 31 on the Farm Science Review’s Facebook page. First prize is a Holland Grill Companion Model (valued at ???), second prize is a $200 gift certificate to Quality Craft Tools and third prize is a two-year subscription to Farm and Dairy magazine.

“Everybody loves old photos and the memories that come with them,” said Chuck Gamble, director of the Farm Science Review. “We can’t wait to see the submissions for this contest; it gives us at the Review an opportunity to reflect on our past 50 years while looking to our future.”

To enter the contest, submit photos electronically on the Farm Science Review Facebook page along with a 50-word description. Individuals may submit more than one entry, but only one prize will be granted per household. This year’s Farm Science Review will be held Sept. 18-20 at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center in London, Ohio. Tickets are available for sale at local agribusinesses and any OSU Extension office for $5 in advance, or $8 at the gate. Children 5 and under are free. For more information, go to fsr.osu.edu.

Farm Science Review is sponsored by the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, Ohio State University Extension, and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center. It attracts more than 140,000 visitors from all over the country and Canada, who come for three days to peruse 4,000 product lines from 600 commercial exhibitors, and learn the latest in agricultural research, conservation, family and nutrition, and gardening and landscape.
